The Ministry for Social Dialogue and Consumer Affairs has launched information kiosks in different locations around Malta to enable consumers and businesses to get information on their rights and duties according to law.
During the launching which was held at Main Street Shopping Complex, Minister Helena Dalli spoke about the importance of consumer education. She said that education on consumer issues should start from a young age both within the family and at schools.
Dr. Dalli said that particular attention will be paid to the more vulnerable consumers so that they will also have enough knowledge about their rights.
The information kiosks will be managed by the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority and it will be available at Main Street Shopping Complex every two weeks on a Monday.
