The first to introduce handmade "Steampunk" jewellery in Malta back in 2010, Marcon Caruana announces her new collection will be showcased at the Malta Artisan Market at the Phoenicia Hotel from 11am to 6pm this Saturday.
"Steampunk design involves the unlikely marriage of gears, screws, and bolts," she says.
Using design elements consistent with the Victorian era, rejecting the aesthetic of industrial design by upcycling and recycling, this collection offers one-of-a-kind statement pieces.
