European Commission announced new food labelling regulation 1169/2011 is now in effect.
"Put your mind at rest when shopping, new food labelling rules are in place to guarantee maximum transparency to the consumer," says the local representative.
The new law combines labelling, presentation and advertising of foodstuffs and nutrition labelling for foodstuffs into one legislation.
