Yoga teacher, Michelle Bartolo together with Anne Hamarsnes, a clinical psychologist, is arranging a
one-week mindfulness and yoga retreat in Gozo from the 24th June to 1st
July.
"Yoga
and mindfulness is about listening to yourself and your body. Through
the practice you will improve your mind-body connection, better
synchronize your breath and body and gain increased physical strength and balance," says Michelle, a certified YMCA fitness instructor who has been into yoga since 2002.
Apart
from the physical gains, the practice can help you prevent stress,
anxiety and depressions. It also teaches you how to deal with physical
pain and other illnesses more effectively.
