The fitness centre at the Westin Hotel in St Julian's is introducing free "Group Training" sessions.
"A workout increases oxygen flow to your brain, and boosts its resistance to stress. Group workouts will boost your motivation and give you the energy to work out harder," says Duncan, the gym manager.
The gym sessions are delivered by the Westin fitness team for up to eight people. The sessions are held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30am and on Saturday at 10:30am.
"Swimming is a fantastic complement to your dry-land workouts. A few laps in our indoor pool will serve as warm-up or cool-down after your workout."
The fitness studio is open Monday to Friday from 6am to 10pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 9pm. An indoor pool and a variety of aerobic classes are also available, a description of current classes and schedule is available online.
