The Malta Dance Sport Association is celebrating its 20th anniversary year, beginning with a "Gala" fundraising event this Saturday at the Phoenicia Hotel Ballroom in Floriana.
"We are proud to have launched so many Ballroom and Latin dancers who had started learning dancing at a very young age," says Annie Cassar, the MDA president.
Members participate in Latin and Ballroom competitions, social dance team matches and events to meet their fellow dancers who visit from abroad.
The MDA also hosts "Practice Sessions" every Sunday at St. Theresa College in Birkirkara, starting at 6pm. "Come and bring your friends with you."
Newcomers are welcome to become members or start taking dance courses.
