A seven-week "Mindfulness" course begins this week, on Thursday evenings starting at 6pm.
This training course will give you a thorough introduction. Clinical psychologist Anne Hamarsnes says, "It’s a technique to heighten attention and positive emotions through awareness of thoughts, external stimuli, or bodily sensations such as the breath. It will give you the opportunity to learn how to practice mindfulness and how to incorporate it into everyday life."
"Practicing mindfulness meditation improves your body-mind connection, making you better able to regulate attention, stress-levels, emotions and behaviours."
The sessions will be held in Gzira. Class is limited to 10 participants. There is no class on 14th May.
