YOGA INSTRUCTOR RETURNS

Yoga instructor Aaron Edik has graduated from an advanced yoga practice and mantra course, after completing training in India and Thailand.

"I'm back in Malta and super excited to be teaching again. Benefits of the series include increased flexibility and body toning, as well as, reduced stress and increased mental clarity," he says.

Basic practices of yoga include Asanas or yoga poses or postures, Pranayama or breath control, meditation, mantras, chanting, healthy food and life style. Yoga postures or yoga poses bring flexibility, strength and endurance to the muscles, joints and overall body systems.

Class is held on Tuesday and Thursday, starting at 7pm at the Organic House in St. Paul's Bay.

Practicing yoga in Thailand in 2012, Aaron attended a Thai Oil Massage course, followed by deepened practise of Hatha yoga in Rishikesh, India. Later in 2013, he completed a traditional yoga teacher training course at Yoga Vidya Gurukul in India.
