A dance style from Angola, "Kizomba" lessons are now available every Sunday at Delight Club at 9pm and every Monday at Monte Carlo Lounge at 9:30pm.
"It's danced accompanied by a partner, very smoothly and slowly, though not too tightly. The Kizomba dancing style is also known to be very sensual," says Vlady Pais, the instructor.
Kizomba is one of the most popular genres of dance and music created in Angola. Derived directly from Semba and a mix of Zouk, sung generally in Portuguese, it is a genre of music with a romantic flow mixed with African rhythm.
