A new "dental" clinic is open in Balzan.
"Plaque control is extremely important in avoiding dental problems and keeping your teeth and gums nice and healthy," says Andrea Agius, the dentist.
"Sugar fuels bacteria in our mouths, leading to a buildup of plaque and increasing the risk of cavitie. Brush your teeth twice a day, cut down on sugar snacks."
Clinic is open Monday and Friday 9am to 1:30pm 2pm to 6:30pm, Tuesday 9am to 6:30pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 9am to 1pm.
