"YIN" YOGA

Newly open studio introduces "Yin" yoga class.

"Best for students who want to increase flexibility while exploring the meditative benefits of yoga," says Julia Markovska, the teacher.

Yin is a static practice in which students hold poses for three to 10 minutes. This practice targets deep connective tissues to invite longer-lasting flexibility and spaciousness in the body.

Class is held Saturday at 11:30am.

Studio is located in Pieta.
