The dojo based in Hamrun announces it will be hosting Kano Yamanaka, a 6th Dan Aikido Master from Japan.
"This is believed to be the first time that Malta will be hosting such a highly rated Aikido Master directly from Tokyo, Japan," says Kevin Bonnano.
Having started Aikido in 1963, Kano Yamanaka practiced under the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba. He has since conducted sessions in Japan, Italy, Cuba and the United States and continues to train under Tada Sensei at the Gessoji Dojo in Japan where he is based.
The Hamrun dojo will soon be celebrating its 10th year anniversary and regularly offers a Beginnger course conducted by qualified personnel following a step-by-step program.
"When practiced regularly, Aikido helps to develop a fitter, suppler and stronger body with improved flexibility, reflexes and reactions improving even your everyday lifestyle."
